I was born in Switzerland in 1976 from Italian parents who had emigrated there. I spent the first 10 years of my childhood in Switzerland. Returning to Italy it was difficult to overcome the trauma of having to start a new life but these are the years in which I began to develop a certain innate propensity for everything related to art and creativity. However, I continued my studies following another great passion of mine, technology, and I got a Diploma as an IT technician. After that, having to carry out compulsory military service, I decided to enlist as a volunteer in the Italian Army, a choice that then became a life since I still serve as a non-commissioned officer in the Italian Army. The work has brought me to the main theatres of war of the last 30 years, letting me meet and understand, among other things, people, cultures and realities that have enriched my personal experiences.
Although I have always been fascinated with the world of images, the encounter with photography is recent. In the summer of 2019 I began to delve into the world of photography with personal studies and then decided to enroll in a basic course at the Click Association in Viterbo, held by the photographer and teacher Lietta Granato. From there I never stopped, I continued my studies with an advanced and professional course always at the Click Association, various courses on post production, various workshops also with photographers of the caliber of Eolo Perfido and Gabriele Rigon. During the 2020 lockdown period, I continued to further my studies by following webinairs and online lessons on everything related to the world of photography. Photography has become part of my life and my way of expressing myself, so one thing is certain, I won't stop here: this is just the beginning.
