Laura Zambelli è nata il 3 novembre 1977 a Latisana. Risiede attualmente a Portogruaro. La sua grande passione per l'arte la porta a scegliere di studiare al liceo artistico di Venezia, luogo in cui comincia a sviluppare le sue capacità espressive attraverso la pittura e la scultura. Appassionata di viaggi, visita numerosi paesi del terzo mondo. Di fronte alle realtà sociali delle popolazioni che incontra e soprattutto di fronte alla grande bellezza dei paesaggi incontaminati che vede, nasce in lei l'esigenza di fissare fotograficamente emozioni, fascino e poesia di ciò che percepisce in queste sue esperienze. Nel marzo 2010 parte per un viaggio solitario nel deserto del Sahara. Da questa esperienza torna con una serie di scatti che espone nella sua prima personale a Portogruaro e successivamente nel centro storico di Treviso. Riscuote un grande successo che alimenta e motiva ulteriormente questa sua passione. L'esigenza fotografica diventa così importante da spingerla a trovare luoghi e situazioni tali da consentirle di di esprimersi anche nella quotidianità, cercando la bellezza della natura e del paesaggio nelle sue terre natali. Nel maggio 2012 il National Geographic pubblica una sua foto. Successivamente numerosi altri suoi scatti vengono scelti da questa prestigiosa rivista che li pubblica nel suo sito WEB. Uno di questi scatti sarà inoltre premiato come una tra le dodici migliori immagini dell'anno 2012. Attualmente la sua ricerca espressiva la porta a misurarsi con i più disparati generi di fotografia, dando però sempre la massima importanza alla sua visione artistica che in tal modo risulta sempre ben precisa e riconoscibile. Romanticismo esistenziale e ricerca concettuale dell'attimo irripetibile, si fondono in uno stile sempre efficace e personalissimo.
