Studied “image” at the Sant Ignasi Instirute of Barcelona during two years. After finishing her studies, she moved to Berlin, where she ist working and living as a photographer and retoucher since 5 years
The photographs were taken at my hometown Dornbirn in Austria. In small cities like Dornbirn, house and garden are very important for the integration and acceptance in the neighbourhood.
The series has won the 2nd place under the categorie architecture at the international photography awards.
URBAN GARDENING PATCHWORK:
The pictures were taken at the urban gardening field of the old airport of tempelhof in Berlin.
Urban agriculture is not only about gardening, it represents social, cultural and biological diversity.
People meet to maintain there vegetable beds, which leads to integration, more solidarity, urban ecology, healthy nutrition and citizenship.
The picture is made out of about 1000 single images taken from a height of 3 meters. Afterwords the pictures were put together to one single image at the computer. The original size is 200x200cm.
