Jeff Schaefer

I run Jeff Schaefer Photography out of our home and it is my sole occupation.

I began studying photography in 1993 at the University of Cincinnati. I graduated with a degree in computer programming, not photography, but my passion for photography was set. I studied photography as a serious hobby over the next 8 years, only dreaming of a career in it.

Then, in 2002 a friend asked me to photograph her wedding. I was hooked and have not stopped since.

I love the fast pace of weddings and the unique variations each wedding brings. For a photographer, wedding photography combines so many styles of photography... portraiture, fashion, photojournalism, action, landscape, architecture, still-life, and fine-art. On a wedding day I get to wear many hats... business professional, keen observer, storyteller, director, coordinator, even psychologist... all fast paced and under pressure to deliver. There's never a dull moment.

We made photography our sole occupation with the start of 2009 and couldn't be happier. We love what we do and are thankful for so many awesome clients!
