About
Harjono Djoyobisono is an Indonesian-born photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. He developed a portfolio of work in his favourite categories of portraiture, landscape, travel, culture and macros/details.
From 2007 to 2010, he was based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He took the opportunity to do extensive further work throughout Java, and in several other regions of Indonesia, including several commissions for agencies wanting to document their work. Trips to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea allowed him to explore new material in those countries.
His work from all these locations has been published internationally, and he has received numerous awards and prizes.
