About

I first became interested in taking photos when I was 7 years old. Using a Canon T50 given to me by my Grandfather, I started to learn about aperture, ISO, exposure and composition.

Although photography remained a side interest, the interest was organic; alongside other hobbies such as rock climbing and mountaineering my passion for photography developed with the publication of several images.

I enjoy all genres from abstract to animals, although I would predominantly class myself as a landscape / reportage photographer. To capture a fleeting moment in time when the light, the mood and the composition are just right is the ultimate challenge and one that I try to achieve each time I'm out with my camera.

We all have our own unique view on what makes a great photograph and I hope that my view will evoke an emotional response in the viewer, be it pleasure, exhilaration or even a smile.

If you would like to purchase any of the images you see, or if you have any feedback, please send me a message.
