In the early 1970's I made a few 8mm and 16mm underground or "avant-garde" short films, while also collecting beautiful newspaper and magazine photos, and cheap used postcards. Arranging the postcards in albums led to making photomontages using only found images, instead of filmmaking. I would love to meet a photomontage artist to whom I could relate.
