Andreas (Andy) Brandl

After graduating from Heidelberg University (Psychology), he moved to China with his Chinese wife to study Mandarin Chinese and Qi Gong. Started out as a freelance photographer in 2010 and was invited as a contributor to Getty Images, Stocksy and Imagebrief. Currently living in Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Andy Brandl´s photography has been featured in international advertising campaigns, television documentaries, digital media and print publications.

Special Techniques:

Urban night and contre jour photography in China (architectural, landscape, creative), making full use of modern digital camera technologies and processing techniques to closely reproduce his vision.
