Stéphanie Roland 1

Having graduated in visual communication in 2010 from the La Cambre art school in Brussels, Stéphanie Roland is a belgian photographer which has already participated in several group exhibitions notably in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Barcelona.

She won a huge number of prizes: the Coups de cœurs award from the Amis de La Cambre association in 2010 (Brussels), the Médiatine award 2011 (Brussels), the Ecrea 2011 award (Lleida) and the Full Contact award 2012 (Tarragona).

Stéphanie Roland is a great nocturnal explorer, delivering images which are almost oxymoronic. With her Enfants modèles series, she draws us into a world that is in equal parts fascinating, dark and disturbing.

She's now working on a new serie about science-fiction for which she collaborates with scientific institutions.
