I am a photographer whose work, rather than being an exact documentary record, attempts to capture the feel, the atmosphere and the impressions evoked by the world around us.
In order to achieve this I use techniques such as long hand-held exposures and intentional camera movement. In some cases, I use a zone plate lens to to emphasize the diffuse quality of the light. Different combinations of techniques enable me to capture the the scene as I perceived it at the time.
