About

Marcin Ryczek – year of birth, 1982. Photographer from Poland.

I am specializing in photography, which refers to the symbols and geometry. Its characteristic features are simplicity, minimalism and reference to the graphic arts. Symbols and geometric shapes are imparting to these images a philosophical matter, they raises questions and deeper reflection. The most important entity which connects all my works is a man, with his “multidimensionality” accented by use of simple symbols and thoughtful composition.

My photos were published in the press and other media around the world, among others: England – The Guardian, Germany – Der Spiegel, Israel – Yedioth Ahronoth, Italy – La Repubblica, Denmark – Politiken, Switzerland – 20 Minuten, Australia – The Daily Telegraph, USA – National Geographic and on the most popular social networks in many countries on all continents.

Photographs were presented i.a at exhibitions in Poland ( in 10 cities), Germany (Weimar), Japan (Tokyo and Osaka), Germany (Weimar), China (Beijing), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Denmark (Copenhagen) and France (Paris)…
