About

Vagabond wanderer camera in hand, I like to explore city back streets searching for the grit and grime of times past. My conceptual background to my artwork stems from inspiration from Eugene Atget's urban historical documentation, the Becher’s architectural studies and Diane Arbus’s obsession with the strange. It is the pockets in the concrete jungle that my camera eye yearn for; the overlooked and often forgotten corners where the concrete has crumbled, the dust collects and the stories of past eras echo.
