Born and raised in Santiago, Chile. Currently based out of beautiful and ocean-side, Cape Cod, MA.
Jorge owned his first camera (plastic Diana 120 film camera) when he was about 10 years old. Later in life he acquired a Russian-made Zenith TTL film camera which provided allowed him to teach himself all about taking good pictures. But ever since he got that "Diana" plastic camera, photography became part of his soul.
During his college years in Chile, photography was put on hold. And while this was going on, and after a few years of building his career and working in computers, in the late 80's, Jorge decided to migrate to the US.
After some years in the US, Jorge took on photography once again. So with a used Canon AE-1 and a few cheap lenses, his passion for photography was awaken once again. The rest is history. Fast forward.. and today we see Jorge as a freelance commercial photographer, who mixes his passion for beauty and deep understanding of technology into a unique blend of styles that makes people the protagonists of his work. Jorge takes pride on how he manages the light that touches his subjects. He is a published photographer and always available for a wide range of commissioned work, either nationally or internationally.
