I'm a professional freelance outdoor photographer and Master Naturalist. I'm a member of the North American Nature Photography Association, Carolina Nature Photography Association, Nikon Professional Services and a Featured Pro Photographer with Singh-Ray filters. I'm a Staff Photographer at Hobcaw Barony and Lowcountry Companion Magazine. My photography can be seen here in the lowcountry at the Gray Man Gallery, Surf the Earth, Grand Strand Regional Hospital, 803 Labs, the historic Sarah Clifford Guest House in Charleston and many other private collections throughout the country.
My articles and photography have been published in Nature Photographer Magazine, North American Nature Photography Associations - Currents Magazine, Carolina Nature Photography Associations - Camera in the Wild Magazine, the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor's Traveler Magazine and kiosks throughout the state, Lowcountry Companion Magazine, Coastal Observer and Alternatives Magazine.
I've won numerous photography awards and was chosen for the cover of the Lowcountry Companion Magazine in July 2011 and again in April 2014. In 2011 the National Cherry Blossom Festival selected my photo of the White House for use in marketing their 2012 Centennial Campaign. In 2012, Blue Moon at Hobcaw Beach was selected for the annual South Carolina Tide Table Chart for 2013. In 2014 I was invited to lecture at the Ansel Adams Exhibition on Black & White photography at the Burroughs and Chapin Museum in Myrtle Beach. My photo of the Marsh Walk at Hobcaw Barony was chosen as the cover for South Carolina Traveler Magazine and I was selected as the featured artist photograph for the annual SCELP - South Carolina Environmental Law Project Wild Side annual fundraiser.
