About
My training in photography and graphic design began in the 90’s, at the Art Institute of Pescara (Italy). At that time everything was analog and “real”and learning takes place among photographic films, emulsions, dark rooms and light tables. After an initial training program that allowed me to acquire and perfect the techniques of graphic arts and photography I alternated over the years a great passion as self-taught to desire to embellish my resume with skills in Photoshop and Illustrator that allowed me to become a “Adobe Certified Expert” in the use of photo editing software and vector graphics.
I have achieved these specialization in Madrid and Paris and through these experiences I got in touch with other professionals, I have absorbed experiences and advice and I turned my passion into a profession becoming an illustrator and graphic designer. In the same year I started working in photography.
I believe that photography in the modern era has received the gift of digital. You may use it to express yourself and you can take advantage of the most advanced technologies. Then, sometimes, you can choose to go back to the smell of emulsions and to the choice of manual exposure. Papers and pencils accompany the birth of a my projects. Sketches, notes, post-it notes and various leaflets turn into inspiration and images. Digital technologies have opened new horizons to photography without preventing it from maintaining its identity.
Since 2010 I’m the editor, founder, publisher and art director of PhotogtaphizeMag, an independent electronic magazine, downloadable FREE, that involves any kind of art regardless of technique or period such as illustration, painting, digital art, photography, sculpture and graphics.
Having all this in my life in every way possible, exploring new visions, expressing myself and showing to the world the way I see things.
