Bart took up photography 14 years ago during his studies in Urban Development at Simon Fraser. In the beginning photographing cityscapes and architecture was just a way to bring both subject matters together.
After traveling back to Poland and Germany to study old towns, architecture, World War 2 leftovers and the restructuring of war torn cities, he took his craft to the next level.
As an accomplished documentary photographer, his images show the big picture of the world that we are often too busy to stop and look back on. He does this by exploiting current technology and shooting wide, all encompassing photos to capture as much of the subject in one frame as possible.
This lets our human eyes see more with camera the lens than we are capable of. This goes for synthetic cityscapes, organic nature scenes and daring street photography.
Currently Bart is releasing his new website www.bartziebaphotography.com, showing his framed work in galleries across western Canada and volunteering his photography skills at charity events.
