Allan Qua Borebor developed his fascination in Photography in 2012. He started as a street photographer(using Olympus EPL-1) and he realized that photography has become his passion. Serious and eager as he was to further improve his craft, he bought his first DSLR and he took up Basic and Advanced Photography workshop in FPPF(Federation of the Philippine Photographers Foundation).
Allan joined the Manila Avid Photographers (MAP) to meet other people and friends, to enhance and put into practice his knowledge and skills.
Eventually, he got into Travel, Landscape and Portraiture Photography. He has an interest in Wedding and Events photography. He also attended workshops with the likes of Edwin Martinez, Raymond Cruz, Allan Nacpil and Amir Alba(our mentor and founder of MAP).
Just recently, he won in the FXB International Photography Competition 2014 through his entry "Technology and Its Positive Outcome" photo.
To celebrate FXB International’s 25th anniversary, FXB brought this competition to amateur photographers across the world to bring FXB's mission to eradicate extreme poverty to life and win a money can't buy prize.
Allan will continue to strive, share and learn more about photography. He was thankful and blessed for those people he met, people who encourage and help him with his passion in photography...especially his FAMILY.
